Happy Hour Los Angeles Top 5 Happy Hours In Los Angeles

Yep. It’s that time of year people.  Your favorite radio hits have been replaced with Little Drummer Boy, there is no parking to be found at The Grove, and your holiday bonus is ancient history, due to the long list of Apple products requested by your adorable loved ones.

But don’t worry my friends. There is solace in the midst of this world full of Christmas commotion. I call it HAPPY HOUR: two beautiful words that bring comfort and delight at their very sound.  Two words that are here to remind you that it’s your holiday too.  So exit that dreaded Grove parking lot, order that iPad online, and head to one of these TOP FIVE HAPPY HOURS IN LOS ANGELES:

The Woods 300x199 Top 5 Happy Hours In Los Angeles

1.) THE WOODS – If you can get past the fact that it’s located in a strip mall, The Woods is a warmly lit, upscale bar with a great happy hour to boot. Reminiscent of a wooded ski lodge, not only can this bar make you feel like you live in the cold, snowy, mountains, but it can warm you up with its $3 well drinks, beer, and wine and $4 martinis from 8-10pm.

2.) THE PARLOR – We all are quite familiar with The Parlor at this point, but not everyone is aware that it has one of the cheapest happy hours in LA. From 4-8 every day, come and have a seat in a comfy leather chair, grab a $3 beer, and enjoy your favorite sporting event on one of their flat screens, conveniently located everywhere you turn.

3.) THE TAR PIT – The Tar Pit is one of our favorite new spots here in LA.  But what we also love about it is their ‘Gilded Hour,’ which takes place Monday thru Thursday from 6-7:30pm.  For just $5 you can snack on gourmet menu items like their Braised Baby Artichokes or their Tamarind Glazed Pork Belly Sliders.  And don’t worry, if you can’t make it ‘til after dinner, the happiness continues from 10:30pm-close.

4.) LA BOHEME – From 5-7:30pm daily, head to La Boheme in West Hollywood, for maybe not the cheapest, but definitely the most scrumptious happy hour in town.  Their $5 well drinks are a staple, but we suggest you splurge for the $7 surprise cocktail that the bartender will make especially for you.  And if that isn’t interesting enough for you, try the Filet Mignon Tacos or the Bacon Wrapped Dates.

5.) KITCHEN 24 – When you think of a ‘diner’ your mind immediately goes to soggy hamburgers and wilted lettuce.  Well, not in this case. Kitchen 24, open 6am-2am daily, gives the word ‘diner’ a new name.  Not only is the food fabulous, but also included is a late night DJ and a candy counter! But, wait, there is more.  Kitchen 24’s happy hour is from 3-11pm Sunday thru Thursday and from 3-8pm Friday and Saturday.  Be sure to try their $6 specialty cocktails, like ‘What a Pear’ or ‘Up Cahuenga Creek.” Or keep things cheap with their $3 beers, $4 well drinks, and $5 appetizers.

And we can promise you one more thing. They won’t be playing holiday music. So ‘tis the season people, and lets eat, DRINK, and be merry.  See you at the bar!
