Just when you thought Hollywood couldn’t get any more insane, along comes Beacher’s Madhouse. Open for public previews this Wednesday in the depths of the Roosevelt Hotel, this circus-type theater event aims to please.
You’ll start under a staircase in the lowest level of the Roosevelt, where you’ll find a sexy librarian who may or may not give you entrance to pass. Should you be so fortunate to go forward, you’ll pass through the secret bookshelf doors, down an inconspicuous passageway lined with antique mirrors, and into the theater.
Once seated at your table, the host will begin the evening where all sorts of revolving acts will transpire before your eyes. Oh, and did we mention that actor David Arquette is the host? Expect live animals, midget impersonators, burlesque dancers, and contortionists among other things.
Satisfy your thirst at the first ever Midget Bar, staffed by, you guessed it, little people. Or if you prefer, order bottle service and and a little person bartender will be strapped into a track on the ceiling and fly your order directly to you. We never said this place was normal.
