The Secret’s Out!

Any fan of vintage shopping knows that scoring a great find can be a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. Ever wish you had someone to do the dirty work for you? Enter Kitty Jensen! After years of collecting vintage clothing from thrift shops and garage sales, Kitty began vending her finds via the aptly named Secret Shop (www.secretshopvintage.com), which she runs out of her Los Feliz apartment. Until now, the word-of-mouth appointment-only shop has perhaps been LA’s best kept vintage secret, but through the end of the month, Kitty will bring her merchandise to the masses with a 1,000 square foot pop-up shop at Hollywood’s Space 15 Twenty (www.space15twenty.com). Kitty’s extremely well-edited collection ranges in price from $24-$150 and includes men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
Stop by Space 15 Twenty this Saturday, January 8th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm to check out the grand opening of the Secret Shop Pop-Up featuring special performances by Mirah, Becky Stark, The Finches and Anna Oxygen.
