Sound Nightclub – Hollywood’s Newest Club is Coming to Town
HOLLYWOOD NIGHTCLUBS | LOS ANGELES NIGHTLIFE
———-
Los Angeles nightlife.
It’s unlike any other city’s in the world. The plethora of money, beautiful (but starving) actresses and models who don’t have regular jobs, and the celebrities who occasionally venture out as long as TMZ isn’t on site makes for a vast pool of potential clubgoers. Add in the fact that LA typically has great weather year round and you’ve got a recipe for a thriving nightlife.
This also means for club owners that the competition is fierce.
The newest nightclub to hit Hollywood is brought to us by the uber-successful guys behind one of the city’s longest running clubs, Playhouse. Introducing, Sound Nightclub, taking over the space formerly occupied by Element in Hollywood.
Sound Nightclub is slated to open next week by Rob Vinokur (“Russian Rob”) and his Muse Lifestyle Group. UrbanDaddy got the first-look pictures of the space (check them out here). “Lots of redwood all over the walls, old railroad ties used as banisters…” as UD describes it. Sound was also designed with tons of video screens with ever-changing content which will allow the owners to offer partygoers a different experience every time they visit.
“One night could be an outer space theme and the next might be a dark forest,” says Vinokur. “It’s designed to be an ever-changing, ever-evolving space, offering a new environment and adventure every night.” [LA Times]
With the rate in which LA clubs come and go, a venue that offers ever-changing scenery may have it’s advantages. Especially when battling the cities both established clubs and new clubs like Greystone, AV, Couture, Lure, Bootsy, and Vignette. Not to mention that old venues MyHouse, Voyeur, L Bar are expected to re-open under new monikers sometime in the next few months.
Despite the competition, LA loves itself a new nightclub. And given the uncharacteristically long run these guys have had with Playhouse, we certainly wouldn’t bet against them. Our money is on Sound nightclub being here to stay.
