- By Brittany Spencer
Channel Your Inner Child. No I’m not talking about sucking your thumb or crawling through boot camp tunnels. I’m talking about remembering what you loved to do to stay active as a child and using it to reach your fitness goals now. What were you drawn to in gym class or on the playground? Now translate that into activities to keep your physique amazing as you mature into a fabulous and fit sexy adult. Getting older doesn’t mean getting fat and being a sloppy couch potato!
Here’s what to do. Find your personal “nickname” that correlates the process of going from young to old. And guess what? It might just help you figure out what your specific passion is so that working out isn’t such a chore!
“FANCY FEET” - You loved playing soccer and football, basically anything with a ball? Great, then join an adult soccer or flag football team to get your cardio going!

“SHAKE WHAT YOUR MOMMA GAVE YOU” – You danced through the aisles of the grocery store, took dance/acting/singing classes, or were in the group break dancing on the high school parking lot?
