DJ Pauly D Lands Liquor Deal

Do you remember when Bethenny Frankel, the reality actress on Real Housewives of New York cashed out on the sale of Skinnygirl Cocktails? That business sold for a reported $120 Million! Well, it looks like Jersey Shore member Pauly D is trying to follow in her footsteps.
According to sources, Pauly D has teamed up with the original founder of Skinnygirl, David Kanbar to launch his own cocktail called REMIX. The drink will be a series of vodka-based drinks and come in multiple flavors. The drinks are intended for the “pre-game” market…the drinks you have BEFORE you go to the actual party.
“My crew and I are always making amazing mixed drinks before we go out, so I wanted to re-create those flavors for my fans to get their own pre-game on,” Pauly D said. “I mix great on the turntables, so why wouldn’t I make a great mixed cocktail that’s RTD (Ready-To-Drink)? I’m also very pumped about my team. I’ve partnered with A+ liquor industry veterans and marketing experts.” ~ Pauly D
The interesting thing is, apparently the drinks were brought to an alcohol beverages wholesalers convention in Vegas last month and buyers genuinely loved it! In fact, we hear it sold more cases during that multiple-day convention than Skinnygirl sold in a year and a half!
So, if this drink actually sells well once it hits the market, DJ Pauly D could be retiring as the richest Jersey Shore Cast Member ever. We’ll see.
